stonehenge rocks! ...get it? ; )

[blog i just got around to posting...]

today is my mom’s birthday and i miss her very much.

it will be so good to see her and ryry in just two more weeks. i wish i could have been with her today : (

it is 2:20am on a Saturday night. around 11 i made the decision to stay in tonight because i was “too tired” to go out. that worked well considering everyone will be back soon and i didn’t get any more sleep than they will tonight. haha. oh katie.

at least i got a little me time tonight. played some guitar, edited a few pictures, showered, and now i’m in bed blogging and writing out postcards. good me night.

today mario and i went to stonehenge and sailsbury on a day trip. Stonehenge was awesome. first of all today was probably the most gorgeous day weather-wise since we’ve been here. the crazy blue skies and glowing green grass only enhanced the magic of the rock ruins. there’s definitely a calming air around that place. sun worshippers? druid meeting place? aliens? if you know me at all you know how i love a good conspiracy theory ; )

oh everybody’s getting home. i hear whispers of boys that don’t live here going into the bedrooms of girls they shouldn’t. . .

saw god of carnage tonight. the actor who plays voldemort in the harry potter movies [btw i finished the 7th book!!!!!!!!!!!! ahh! LOVED IT.] was one of the hysterical 4 person cast. we waited by the backstage entrance afterwards and got to meet him and he even autographed my ticket. heheheeeee. what a great play. really i’ve enjoyed almost everything we’ve see here, which is quite a few. laundry list time.

  • romeo and juliet
  • hello goodbye
  • ‘we will rock you’ queen musical
  • the year of magical thinking
  • last train to nuerba
  • the city
  • avenue Q
  • brief encounters
  • king leer
  • god of carnage
  • merchant of Venice

my least favorite was the yawn-fest year of magical thinking followed by 3 of the 4 hours of the globe theatre’s king leer production and highly predictable hello goodbye.

[on a side note the main singer of shinedown’s voice gives me chills]

sheep sheep sheep everywhere. little white dots on rolling hills. green shades patchworked as far as the eye can see, spanning across the undulating horizon. yellow wild flowers scattered near the winding roads.

3:31 am. ok bed time. i’ve been up for 21 hours today.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

love katie.
