me gusto barcelona!

my laptop and i are chillin' in shepard's naeme pub across from my theatre. i've just sorted out keaton's traveling details with him and have butterflies about seeing him tomorrow night!

i've barely got time for a blog, but want to write a blurb about barcelona before the spanish high wears off.

well we're [kathryn, jade, jake and myself] back in london and i'm sleep deprived as hell. i did not sleep the night before last, got a few hours last night, but now it's really hit me today.

barcelona exceeded my expectations and i was really hoping it was going to be great! we did this hop-on-hop-off bus thing that took us to all the sites. it was the best way see the city and travel as far as i've experienced and i will be doing it in every city i visit abroad in the future. seriously. here's the website: http://www.barcelona-on-line.es/eng/reserves/bus_turistic.htm

go there.

travel this way. it is so convenient. [no they are not paying me to say this although i would not mind if they did because i endorse it 100%]. we got to do so much in such a short time. the sight's were unbelievable.

gaudi is a magical architect/artist thing who created amazing buildings, sculptures, and art all over the city. his work is all like nothing i've ever seen before in the best way possible.

la sagrada familia is probably the single coolest building i've ever seen/touched/been in/experienced in general [i'll try and post pictures tomorrow]. people have been building it for over 100 years. and it's been under like 4 artistic directors [don't quote me on that]. the difference in leadership is evident as each side of the building is so different from the others. drip castle style, slug and lizard adorned, fruit filled icecream cone towers-- it is just crazy looking. the inside is just as intriguing and i cannot wait for it to be done [projected completion = 2020 and i am so there!]. we paid to go up in the towers and took the terrifying spiral stair cases through the stone passageways. the overhangs made your stomach flip in olymic medal-worthy ways as you looked out over dots of people. sweeeeeeeeeeeeet.

we walked the beautiful beach and collected rocks since there were no seashells in sight and shopped at the markets along the port. i bought some ab fab tye dye from a spanish hippie and fell in love with sangria after resistance because jake insisted i try it as a cultural experience.

we also went to a bull fight : (
i think my next club i start may be an anti bull murdering one.

our last night we got a touch of the famous spanish nightlife and let's just say spain lives up to it's party hardy reputation.

i had such a good time there and the people i traveled with were really fun too. i was skeptical before we left since i'm really only good friends with kathryn, but it all worked out and everyone was laughing the whole time.

well there are raised voices in the far right corner behind me and i am pretty sure my exit cue comes before a pub fight breaks out so i am off.

1 more day with tovah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
